Breastfeeding Cafe meets in person every other Wednesday at 10 AM beginning May 26 and returns to meeting in person on every Wednesday on July 7. Registration to attend in person is strongly encouraged. Vaccinated people do not need to wear a mask, people who are unvaccinated need to wear a mask per Federal CDC guidelines.
We are currently limiting in person groups to 15 people, priority will be given to those who have registered to help us maintain group safety for in person meetings. Babies and young children are welcome to accompany you to our meetings.
The link to our Zoom meetings are posted the morning of the meeting in BBC’s Breastfeeding Cafe and Parenting Facebook group. If you aren’t on Facebook and would like to join us, please email email@example.com and we’ll happily send you the link!
Our informal breastfeeding support group is a place for you to spend time with other breastfeeding parents and our group facilitator to ask questions, listen, share and learn more about parenting through breastfeeding in a friendly, safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment. Our Breastfeeding Cafe is facilitated by Alison Spath, IBCLC, and Jennie Kieffer, CLC.
We welcome ALL pregnant and breastfeeding families – whether you are breastfeeding exclusively, supplementing with formula or donor human milk, pumping and bottle feeding, adoptive breastfeeding or re-lactating. We are honored to support you wherever you are on your journey.
Our Breastfeeding Cafe meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM until noon-12:30 but you are welcome and encouraged to drop in at any point during our time together. Pregnant and nursing parents, babies and young children are welcome to join us. Please bring a blanket for your baby and quiet toys or books for your young children. You are welcome to bring snacks or your lunch. We have an infant scale that you can use during the meeting to weigh your baby if you like.

If you are struggling with a very challenging breastfeeding issue that requires extra attention, it’s possible a private breastfeeding consultation might be necessary for you and your baby. This can be arranged to happen immediately after our Breastfeeding Cafe meeting, or on another day and time, at Beautiful Birth Choices or in your home.
Moms of older babies and toddlers often gather in the yoga studio during our Breastfeeding Cafe meeting to for support each other and allow crawlers and walkers to move and socialize. All are welcome to join in on the fun!
