Our prenatal yoga classes are sequenced and designed for your changing body and growing baby. We invite you to come and be a part of an amazing group of women where we hope you will learn a little more about yourself, develop a deeper connection with your baby and feel grounded as your baby’s birthday draws closer.
Each yoga practice will consist of safe, gentle postures that will also include some breath work and mindfulness meditation. In our classes you will learn skills and techniques you that will be able to draw on and use during labor and the birth of your baby, or any time during your pregnancy when you might be feeling nervous, anxious or stressed. It is our hope that our yoga classes will help prepare you for the hard work of giving birth to your baby and allow you to cultivate more self-awareness during this transition to new motherhood. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth – every baby is a beautiful new beginning.
We will provide a safe, open space where we encourage you to ask questions, share your doubts, fears or concerns – from the changes your body is going through to the new life growing within you. Our yoga community extends far beyond the mat.

A regular yoga practice during your pregnancy can help make your recovery from pregnancy, labor and birth easier, including recovery from cesarean section.
Meditation can help bring mindfulness to your parenting.

Your Class Experience
During our practice we will focus on proper alignment within each asana (posture) to safely achieve the benefits of a yoga practice. Our classes are safe and suitable for all trimesters.
No prior yoga experience is necessary. Our studio is equipped with all the props you will need for class, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. We suggest you wear comfortable clothes you can move in and we recommend you bring a bottle of water. Please try to arrive 5 – 10 minutes before your class start time. If you arrive a little late, come in quietly and join your class in progress.
Sue Fox, Alison Spath and Eileen Hayes are all RYT 200 have been trained and certified in Prenatal Yoga through Open Sky Yoga Center.
