Our interactive Introduction to Breastfeeding in person class is taught by Alison Spath, IBCLC or Jennie Kieffer, CLC at Beautiful Birth Choices.  This class is intended and designed for expecting parents, to help you feel prepared and understand the most important things to know about breastfeeding before your baby has arrived. Partners or a support person are welcome and encouraged to accompany you to this class!

The information and concepts presented in our classes follows the best practices of modern lactation science and is supported the most recent and up to date evidence based content and research.

Class information includes:

What’s most important when it comes to building and maintaining your milk supply.

How to feed your baby comfortably.

Latch and positioning techniques and tips.

When and where to find help, and how to recognize if and when you could use help.

Finding your community of breastfeeding/chestfeeding families for support and encouragement.

Answers to any of your questions and concerns.
